4 Dear old Sister

6 I suppose you are all rejoicing over having the son back with you, &
7are having a good time.

9 Would you please, dear, give me in the enclosed card the address of
10some man from whom I could get fresh penguin eggs, & also the address
11of the man from whom you got those nice peaches at Worcester. Or is
12the time for penguin eggs over?

14 Cron returned yesterday from the Falls. He had a lovely time & is
15looking very fit. They were able to go to Livingstone Island & the
16other island we couldn’t reach because the river was so high when we
17were there.

23 I’ve just got a letter from Dr Corthorn all full of Ursula. The dear
24child is a great joy & comfort to her. I don’t think her heart has

26 ^ever gone out to any one in this way before.^
