5 I saw Mr Sauer this morning when he went past.

7 I am coming down to Town. Again my nephew has changed his plans. He
8cannot stop stop with me here, as we intended but goes on to town
9tomorrow. I shall come down as soon as I have finished an article I am
10working at & which must go off by this ^next^ week's mail to England. I
11am sitting up every night till two or three at my work, & feel tired,
12& shall be glad of change. I may come any time from Sunday to
13Wednesday. On Thursday I have to leave again with my sister-in-law &
14the children for Grahamstown If I can't go with them but have to wait
15a few days I wish you would come with me. I'll have all that long
16journey alone.

18 I'll send you a card or wire to say just when I'm coming. I'll go to
19Pools Hotel first & then to you if you'll have me
