…There is a panic about fever...

3 Neta & Ollie are so sweet, they lie by you all day on the bed ^one on
4each side^ though the front door is open all the while! They never left
5me once for five days after you left; but on Friday, when I sat up,
6the Old Party at once organised a hunting party. She seemed to say
7‘Now you’re better, it’s a fine hunting day & we’re off.’
8They went down the vlay & returned after two or three hours in search
9of eats!! They are both lying on my bed now…

11 You will be glad to hear I have hired a little Kaffir girl:- I am much
12better today, all fever gone…
