15I enclose proofs, you Brother suggests I should put in something about
16the school magazine as that would explain how ithe ^little story^ came
17to be given him. Would you please if not quite too much trouble put in
18this dedication. I think it resembles the first I sent which Mr Watt
19said he didn’t get.

21Thanks much for book. A Mrs Unwin who is some connection of yours is

Notation
Filed with this Dedication to Dream Life and Real Life and Schreiner’s letter to Fisher Unwin is an associated letter, also to Unwin, by Fred Schreiner, as follows:

‘New College,
Eastbourne.
Oct 29 / 93

Dear Mr Unwin,

I don’t really know what portrait of my sister appears in “Dreams”, for I have given away all the copies ^of the book^ bought.

I shall be pleased to submit to you copies of recent photos, but have not one by me at present. She had some taken by Elliott & Fry before sailing.

Yours very truly,
Fred Schreiner’.
