6 I think as the weather seems so unsettled still I shall put off my

9 It will be three years next week since Cron & I arrived at Cape Town &

13one you spent in Swellendam I wish I could be there to give my good

24 Is Dot getting on well with her studies. My visit to Pretoria was an en
25an experience in many ways. No one except the dear old Smuts’s
26seemed to want to have anything to do with me. I was so grateful you

33 P.S. Can you write me up the name of a cheap dressmaker or tailor who
34could make me a cool dress. I have only a serge which will be very hot
35for Cape Town. If you could send me up the address I could get them to
36send me samples & have the dress made perhaps by the time I come down.
