Dear Fan

I’m so glad to see from Will’s note to Cron that you are a bit
better again, & out of bed after that horrible influenza. I do hope it
won’t leave you so tired unfit for a long time as it sometimes does.
Nothing matters but being well! I think Cron will be coming down to
Cape Town soon, but I shan’t come till November & then only for a
few days. I want to see you all so: but I must not stay. I think I
shall try the sanatorium at Beaufort West for a little time. I am so
anxious to get well & able to work again.

I am very anxious as to the things which the next few weeks will show
us. As to Rhodes, he has only a few years more to run & then he will
have played himself out forever.

I’m glad Dot & you get out on your bikes. Be careful never to overdo
it uphill!

^Love to the dear small folk. Take care of yourself. Get quite rid of
the influenza. ^
