Dear Mr Unwin,

“Peter Halket” (two copies) has just arrived. Mrs Schreiner desires me
to thank you heartily for the books, & to say that she is very pleased
with the get up, which she considers excellent. It is indeed very
tasteful.

There is a little error, which please rectify when you can. The
address should be 19 (nineteen) Russell Road – (not 9.)

When you can manage it too, please add to the words “From a
Photograph”, the words “taken in Matabeleland.”

I don’t suppose you can make the alterations now: but you will
probably be able to at some time in the future.

With kind regards,
Yours very sincerely,
S.C. Cronwright Schreiner
