4 I am enclosing the note for Malan in case you do not know him. His
5private address is Kloof Street. I do not know the number but you will
6easily find his house right up at the top where the tram stops, if
7he’s not at his office.

9 You came out with my brother Will and my boy Oliver, so there is no
10need for me to send you an introduction to him.

12 I hope you have arrived safely. No doubt I shall see in Friday’s
13paper that you have done so. I will be very very glad to see you here.
14Your wife I am sure I shall love from what I have heard of her.
