3 Betty dearest still it rains & rains here! I’m so sorry it was so
4wet when May was with you.

6 Ruth Alexander comes every day to see me; & last night my young Indian
7friend came to see me – otherwise I have seen no one. Edna was
8asleep when I went to see her. My young Indian & a friend of his a
9brother of Mrs ?Marden are coming next Tues-day evening, & that Indian
10from East Africa. He says they will come to see you if I will let them
11now when you are back.

13 I do hope you are able to get out for some walks. I know what they
14mean to you.

16 Eva is going to Germany again this week. Edward is going with her as
17far as Holland. Helen is away having a cure & Polly is visiting
18friends.
