6I hear there may be a boat going this week so am writing again in that
7hope. It is more than four weeks since we had any letter from Africa.

9It is a pouring rainy afternoon: it has rained without leaving off all day!

11I saw Ol & Edna for a few minutes yesterday. Ol is looking so much
12better, quite filling out & like his old self. He is working very hard.
13 I’ve only seen him once besides since you left.

15I have such a funny feeling, that if I went down to Cadogan Square I
16would find you all there. But I take care never to go to that part of
17London.

19Its Please tell me all the little bits of news. You don’t know how
20it will all interest me. Give my love to Keitje Silke & to Hammy & to
21Kitty if you see her. Tell Kitty she’s going to have a very nice
22little daughter in law if Phil marries his little girl. I like her, much.

24I haven’t seen any one since you left except Is-abella Ford. Miss
25Molteno is still in Cornwall with Miss Greene.
