My darling Betty

I wonder if you are still in Natal or have come back to the Cape.
Write or get Alice to write to tell me your plans I am so happy here.
All my old friends are only changed in that they are improved & nicer
than I thought them. It has been unbroken happiness since I came. I
thought only a child could feel so happy. Oliver is going with me to
the Riviera & Florence & perhaps Rome. He has to be back in Cambridge
on the 16th so we shall have a fortnight together. He & Ursula are a
great joy to me. I can’t tell you how finely they are developing.

Good bye dear. Write to me c/o Standard Bank.
