Dear Mrs Murray

I have just got your card & also a letter from Mr ?Musto saying they
will be willing to take me after the 10th. I have already taken my
rooms at Matjesfontein, so I shall have to go there first, but I am
writing to ask Mrs ?Musto whether she would be willing to let me call
at their place on Tuesday morning on my way down to Matjesfontein,
staying there till the evening train passes for Matjesfontein, then I
can see if the place would suit my asthma, & after I have been the
month there at Matjesfontein I might come back there for a month.

Thank you so very much for all the trouble you have taken for me. It
is very good of you. One of the greatest drawbacks to living in South
Africa is that when you don’t feel well there are so few places to
go to for rest & change.

Yours ever
Olive Schreiner

^It would be so nice if I found you still at Nel’s Poort, but I fear
you will be gone.^
