My dear old Sister

I must write you a line to congratulate you on the return of your dear
ones. I wish I could have been with you to see all all the rejoicings
on Tues-day. Please drop me a line when you have time to tell me how
my old Brother looks: as for my boy Oliver I expect he has grown out
of all knowing. It’s so bad to think it will be months & months
before I can see them.

Cron will be going down to Cape Town but will be just too late to wish
you many happy returns of your day, as he leaves this on the 20th.

I wonder if you have met the

^Pethick-Lawrences who came out with Will. They are coming up to see me
& I am looking forward to seeing them so much. Good bye dear. Did the
travellers think the house nice? ^
