9 Cron has been staying for ten days at his mother’s at Rondebosch,
10but doesn’t mention having seen any of you.

12 I am for the present here. I go out to-day to visit General Malan’s
13farm, & return here tomorrow. Next Wednesday I shall go out to stay at
14a farm called Uitkijk near Fraserburg Rd, but please drop me a line
15before that addressed to Beaufort West.
