  Dear One,

I wonder if you can have gone to England with Miss Greene. But if you
have this will be sent on to you.

Cron has got a big rebel case sent into his hands legally, a man of
this district who surrendered with Fouche’s commando at Cradock is
being tried for murder. The preliminary comes on tomorrow; but there
are so many people who can prove he was not a ringleader that I hope
the magistrate will squash the trial. If he does not it will have to
go to the judge & there will be much expense for his family who are
poor people; but I feel no doubt he will get off.

All goes well with us as of old we have not yet got into our little
