3No card from you again this mail. I see my darling Con is in prison
4once more. I am very anxious about her; her heart is so weak.

6You & Miss Greene must come out & help us here with the woman work, &
7the native question. Do come; you can always go back.

9Theres a lovely house I don’t know if it was built when you were
10here. Its on the highest point, between Sea Point & Camps’ Bay high
11up under the Lion’s Headead, Head, its the highest house in Cape
12Town. I always feel so well when I’m up there, & I’ve tried to
13hire it from old Van Zyl who built it. He wants £6.10 a month for it
14unfurnished.
