Dear Friends,

I am writing this in case you come by the six o’clock train tomorrow,
& I cannot be there. I have taken you rooms behind the Town Hall at a
house called “Else’s Buildings.” All the cab drivers know it.
Miss Smith’s was too damp.

I wired to you this morning to know which train you were coming by,
but have got no reply. Cron feels sure you will come by the midday
train, but I can’t help fancying you may come early.

I’m so glad it’s not so cold for your today. We can go & sit out
in the sun on the Koppje.
