7I did not get your letter till Thursday morning here. When I left the
8Ivanhoe on Wednesday mid. day it had not yet come. It was written on
9Monday so I couldn’t quite make out how it took so long. It came
10quite open as several of your letters have done. There must be
11something wrong with the gum.

13I meant to put the money in the bank but I was too ill to go to the
14city, so I just put it in my hand bag & took it with me on the train
15on Wednesday. Dear old Mushit came with me to the station or I think I
16should never have got off.

18Thank you dear for all the trouble you took. It was too bad of me to
19trouble you; that dear old brain & body must be so over worn with work
20& anxiety.

22The dear Parkers are very kind, but the weather is damp & cold. It
23doesn’t seem like Llandrindod used to be – but that’s me.

25I’m so glad you have good news of the young ones. I’ll write dear
26when I’m a bit pulled together.
