6Dear Lucy,

8I’m staying in this little village in Thuringia among the fir trees,
9for the ?“Nar-lur”. Bad Nauheim seems to have done me much good. I met
10I’ve met a nice American minister & his sweet wife here, who say
11they met you last year in Switzerland, his cousin is, I think, married
12to your sister. It was so nice to meet some one who had seen you in
13this out of the world spot. My movements are not quite sure yet.
