My dear Laddie

It was too bad that all your Sunday afternoon was spoiled by me. Thank
you so much dear for coming. It’s nice to think you are somewhere in
the world though I don’t see much of you – the last bit of my
family I have.

I went to the sanatorium yesterday. They say they can’t do anything
for much for me the for the diseased state of the heart & arteries,
but they give a little relief to the pain caused by the hardened
arteries. The electric bath & massage certainly did relieve the pain
greatly for some ^the^ time

Good bye my dear old man. You don’t know how I love you.
