Dear Laddie

Please let me know when Fan passes here. The weather is lovely now &
the veld fine.

I put my small word in pr begging the boy to come out with Ursula. I
am a bit better & shall not come down to see the Doctors unless I get
worse again. Cron is doing finely at his golf. I am so glad he has
that, otherwise the life here would be empty enough for him. He played
a remarkable game with Dr Baker the other day. For the five last holes
he & Baker fo made exactly the same number of strokes for each hole, &
came out tie. That can’t very often have happened.

I see it has gone as I knew it would & Botha ^& Jan^ are in the saddle
yet. It is the people who will turn them out not the members of
parliament. What wheels within wheels. Can’t write more.
