6 Please let me know when Fan passes here. The weather is lovely now &
7the veld fine.

9 I put my small word in pr begging the boy to come out with Ursula. I
10am a bit better & shall not come down to see the Doctors unless I get
11worse again. Cron is doing finely at his golf. I am so glad he has
12that, otherwise the life here would be empty enough for him. He played
13a remarkable game with Dr Baker the other day. For the five last holes
14he & Baker fo made exactly the same number of strokes for each hole, &
15came out tie. That can’t very often have happened.

20 I see it has gone as I knew it would & Botha ^& Jan^ are in the saddle
21yet. It is the people who will turn them out not the members of
22parliament. What wheels within wheels. Can’t write more.
