6 I didn’t know I could still feel so glad about anything as when I
7got your letter yesterday.

9 You must try to stay more than one day because the train gets here in
10so late in the morning, it’s only half a day.

12 I have two extra beds now if you & Ollie Boy can share one rather big
13& airy room.

15 Its a terrific day, winds hot, dry – but you always bring such nice

18 Isie Smuts (General Smut’s wife) has just written to tell me she has
19a new little son, to called Jannie, & just like its father.
