3:  I am leaving for Somerset East. There was fever at Oudeberg & they
4:  could not keep boarders there. I was not afraid of the fever & would
5:  have stayed on if I could the air was so fine. I am going to stay with
6:  Minnie de Villiers mother Mrs Drummond at Somerset for about a
7:  fortnight, & may then get to a farm near Cradock.
