I enclose Mrs Murray’s note to me which will tell you about her &
7: Anna Purcell. It is still cool here, but we’ve had one or two of our

I wish you & Alice would come out soon & go & live somewhere among the
11: natives: you could be of such use to them. The Dutch don’t need them
12: one any more. They are top-dog, & playing the part of top-dog. Mrs
13: Malan has been very ill, but is I see in the papers better.
