7I am not very fit – or would have written before. I should like to
8come with you on Thursday evening to see Miss ?Poutney act, if that
9suits you. If I shouldn’t be well enough I’ll send you a post card
10on Tuesday evening which will reach you Wednesday morning, saying I
11can’t come; but I’m sure I shall be better This war takes much out
12of one - & what for – what for.
